Homework

Children are set homework on a regular basis, according to their age and this may include reading, maths, spellings and topic work. Google Classroom is used as main means of homework communication. Spelling Shed, TimesTable Rock Stars and Numbots websites are commonly used for homework tasks. Collins Hub website is for reading and phonics. Children have their own unique login to these websites. Please ask the class teacher for details.

Whilst homework is not a compulsory requirement for primary aged pupils, research shows that children are likely to make +3 months progress over those who do not complete homework. 

Homework clubs are also offered by class teachers for those unable to complete any task at home. Please speak to your child's teacher to sign them up to their homework club.
